The English language we know today is about six hundred years old. For half that time, Eng

The differences between American English and British English are not very great. Written English is more or less the same in both Britain and America, though there are some spelling differences. Contacts (交往) between Japan and the rest of the world have grown a great deal in the twentieth century. In the last thirty years, business contacts between Japan and the West have become very important. Many foreign companies now have offices in Japan and Japanese businessmen do business around the world.
